Alusky Catahoula Leopard Siberian Husky

Alusky — What is it? It's a mix of Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamute. Of all things, it's a "designer breed". As it turns out, there's a bit more involved than backyard breeding. I'll need to do more reading before I say much more on the subject but I will say this:

A mix of the 2 breeds is an embodiment of Ying and Yang. A husky wants your couch but not you on it. A malamute needs to be near you while your attention is centered only on it. When a malamute is being not focused on — trust me when I say the malamute in your mix WILL destroy things within its reach! ANYTHING that has your scent on it, such as notebooks you use for all your bright ideas, books you paid good money for, various containers of powder in the kitchen, on a desk.... etc etc etc!
